Maiev was stationed at the Hajiri temple in northwestern Kalimdor just before the War of the Ancients. The Shadowsong family was not of noble blood, so both siblings had to earn their positions through sheer skill and hard work. Her brother, Jarod Shadowsong, had become an esteemed Captain in the Guard in Suramar. Growing up in the ancient Kaldorei Empire, Maiev joined the Sisterhood of Elune and quickly rose through its ranks, becoming it's most senior Priestess. She has been a part of many important events spanning the past 10,000 years. A well renowned Night Elf Warden and former Priestess of the Moon who is dedicated to her ideals of justice, despite Malfurion Stormrage's best efforts to calm her down.
